Girevoy Kettlebells Sports

Traditionally, kettlebell sport also known as Girevoy sport or GS, you are required to lift repetitively for 10 minutes without the kettlebells beingput down; there are 3 lifts involved in GS.

“Biathlon”:  total number of jerks in 10 minutes plus the total number of snatches in 10 minutes = your score
“Long Cycle Clean and Jerks” (LCCJ):  total repetitions completed in 10 minutes = your score
Unlike Hardstyle, which is more strength-oriented, Girevoy Sport (GS) involves equal parts strength/endurance while taking your will power and determination to the max.
GS, being a sport, also has ranks based on the size of the kettlebell used and the amount of reps completed in one of two events:
Kettlebell sport lifts and assistance training provide excellent supplementary training for other sports.
D8 Fitness Studios is the place where you can learn everything about the traditional Russian Girevoy Sport (G.S.). We provide in-depth training for an absolute beginner or Expert who are getting ready for their next event. We believe that anybody wanting to learn any aspects of kettlebell training should learn the proper technique If you are planning on competing.

Each session lasts 50 minutes in total.
