It’s never too early to start. With our Elite Junior Weightlifting Bar, they’ll get started out right. Our D8 Fitness junior weightlifting bar is intended for use by youth and school-aged lifters.
The Elite Junior Weightlifting Bar is constructed of high quality, hardened chrome and is finished with a black oxide coating. It has been designed for both quality and durability. It’s ideal for performing a variety of lifts, including Olympic lifts as well as static lifts like squats, benches and deadlifts.
What makes the Junior Elite Weightlifting Bar the perfect fit for youth and school-aged lifters? Let’s start with the knurling. Like many bars, it features knurling in the grip areas. This provides lifters with maximum gripping qualities. This, in turn, helps to prevent slipping during lifts. There is no knurling in the center of the bar, however. This will keep your neck from chafing during cleans while still providing enough grip on the base of the neck for back squats.
Another key feature of the Elite Junior Weightlifting bar is the way it rotates. Specially-designed bushings reduce vibration during rotation. As a result, the bar meets less resistance and spins easier when you rotate your hands.
This bar is suitable for use by younger lifters and school-aged children. In addition to traditional weightlifting, is is also ideal for cross training and WOD training.
