This pocket-size chalk comes with a carabiner for easy attachment to your rucksack or workout bag. How does liquid chalk compare to traditional chalk? Traditional chalk consists of magnesium carbonate, a grip-enhancing substance used for years to dry sweaty hands. However, one must generally apply traditional chalk dozens of times during a workout to continue drying out the hands as sweat continues to form. Eventually, the chalk layer will wear off and, without reapplication, you risk injuring your hands or yourself.
Comparatively, liquid chalk is unique form of magnesium carbonate that comes in liquid form packaged in a squeeze bottle. Don’t want to carry around a container of chalk? How to Use:
Shake well before using, then squeeze out desired amount. After that, spread it evenly and allow it to dry. Use equipment like normal. Experiment with the product to find the right application amount for you.. We recommend trying a small amount first, about the size of a dime. Work your way up till finding an amount that works best for each individual. For example, too large or frequent an application will leave hands wet and tacky.
To remove: Liquid chalk washes off with soap and water. Scrub lightly to remove excess or dried on chalk.
How often will you need to use it?
For best results, use small amounts with regular application. The number of turns will depend on the activity and skill level. Higher level athletes doing full routines will probably get around 3-4 turns per application. Similarly, lower level athletes doing only 1-2 skills will get considerably more turns. It must be remembers that this product does require time to air dry. Consequently, waving hands or using a small fan will greatly decrease the drying time to between 10-20 seconds (depending on amount applied).
