Push-Up Bars
Level-up your push ups with a pair of push-up bars. Not for the faint-hearted, these bars will make it even harder to complete a full push-up. Made to increase the range of motion in your movement, you will be able to build more muscle and a leaner upper body.
About Push Up Bars
Push-up bars are basically a pair of steady handles that you place on the floor underneath your shoulders. Get into push-up position with your hands on the bars and complete your push-up as normal. You can do this from the feet or the knees, depending on your capability. Either way, you will notice the difference that comes from adding a little height to the move.
You can move the bars wider or narrower depending on the muscle you are trying to isolate. You could also use push-up bars to add intensity to full planks and side planks.
Using the bars in this way will make the exercises more challenging due to an increased range of movement. This is one of the best ways to build longer, leaner limbs.
Benefits of Push-Up Bars
As well as adding difficulty to your workout, these bars have a number of other benefits. Great for those with weaker wrists, the bars actually reduce the amount that the wrist has to bend. This takes some of the pressure off the sensitive area while continuing to test the biceps, triceps and shoulders. For this reason, they are not recommended for those with shoulder injuries.
